REMEMBERING WHEN ... Our 50th Reunion
Now that we have returned to our homes and have settled back into our daily routines, it’s time to say thank you to everyone who helped make our 50th class reunion a smashing success. We had classmates attend the celebration from the far corners of our country and from well beyond. Without the friendship and loyalty to each other and the desire to refresh those memories formed years ago, we could not have fashioned the wonderful weekend that revolved around our lives from 1955 to 1959.
A special “Thank You” goes out to the reunion committee, a group of talented and wonderful classmates who gave of their time and energy, over a two year period, to plan this weekend of renewed friendship. We had only one attempt at our 50th and I think we got it right.
The reunion committee will meet in the next few months to determine the direction of class’s thoughts for the year 2014 and also review the finances in order to make a donation to Allentown Central Catholic as we have always done in the past. We’ll keep you posted on our decision.
Our 50th reunion committee wishes everyone good health and best wishes for you and your families until we meet once more as the “Class of 59.”
